Last Monday, Pasadena City Council snuck item 1E on to the agenda to temporarily lift the city’s ban on plastic bags. Many, including myself, were surprised not only by the fact that it was put on the agenda, but also that it passed. With a unanimous vote, plastic bags are once again allowed in Pasadena, at least until the local emergency order is lifted. This is unacceptable.
